Summary about PLC:

Pembangunan Leasing Corporation is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Bhd (BPMB), incorporated on November 1, 1977. PLC was established as a business venture BPMB commercial finance market, particularly through the provision of lease. PLC now has a paid-up capital of RM74 million and has always maintained excellent financial performance. PLC also has a strong customer base consisting of selected companies representing various industry categories such as manufacturing, construction, supply, transportation, agriculture, and hospitality and information technology.

Business Challenge:

PLC needed a centralize solution that allow administrator to manage their desktop, windows patches and application patches from Headquarters remotely. Before desktop management implemented in PLC, administrator from HQ would need to prepare a CD which contain of latest windows patches and the latest finance application. Then, the CD would need to be installed to every PC in PLC for manual update. Besides, PLC IT Audit will need to go to every PC to perform PC Audits every twice a year. By doing that, PLC is paying a high price in order to support those activities monthly

Outcome:

PLC Head of Information Technology Section, En. Kamal Mehra Yaacob decide to implement TCO!stream Desktop Management System on March, 2010 for around-the-clock manage of desktop, and patches deployment.
